(Sep 23, 2014) A painting. A memory

Tilsa Tsuchiya (1928/29 - 1984) is the most important female painter in Peru. Combining the idea of pre-Columbian myths and iconography with erotism and feminity, Tsuchiya’s piece of work is subtle but full of sensuality (in terms of an expression of pure love).
This painting “Como un Fantasma” (Like a Ghost) is my favorite. The erotism of the shapes is visible and its title is the perfect line for that fading but latent passion between lovers.

[i dedicate it to the person I’ve lost and will always be around me, like a ghost]
